A podcast performance of a song cycle telling the story of the birth of modern human rights in Europe, through the eyes of David Maxwell Fyfe, British prosecutor at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials, and later, champion of the European Convention on Human Rights.

 

Members of his family tell of his journey from Nuremberg to Strasbourg with original musical settings of poems that inspired him along his way.
