THE HERITAGE OF NUREMBERG

 

As a tentative step towards putting things right after World War II, the Nuremberg Trials became one of the foundation stones of the protection of peace in Europe over the next 75 years.

We have submitted evidence to the British Institute for Human Rights for the independent review established by the government into the application of the current Human Rights Act. We said the review should look further back in time, and envision further forward.

 

Rights and freedoms must be not be allowed to lie still,  but meet the needs of the society of today and tomorrow. Read our submission in full here.
